With summer upon us, have you considered finding a “grief camp” for your children to attend?

Often, your local hospice will sponsor such a thing. Exclusively Christian grief camps for kids are rare, so prayerfully consider what’s available in your community. Children might not seem like they need any help—yet. Please remember that children can take many years to work through their grief. I was told by a counselor that on average, it can take children about 4 and a half years. I never forgot what she said and made sure that before I got on with my life in certain areas, I made sure my children made it through their grief first.
